Sydney, Australia – April 18, 2024 – Seven West Media Limited (ASX: SWM) today provided a significant update on the ongoing CEO transition process, initially announced on December 7, 2023.
James Warburton, the current Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, will conclude his tenure at SWM today, April 18, 2024. Stepping into his role effective April 19, 2024, will be Jeff Howard, who previously served as SWM’s Chief Financial Officer.
Acknowledging Mr. Warburton’s substantial contributions to the company over the years, SWM Chairman, Kerry Stokes AC, expressed gratitude on behalf of the board and the company. Mr. Howard also extended his appreciation to Mr. Warburton for his leadership and dedication.
Meanwhile, the search for a new Chief Financial Officer at SWM remains ongoing. In the interim, Craig Haskins has been appointed as Acting CFO until a successor for Mr. Howard is identified and announced.
