In their latest project, the CG motion experts at Bark&Bite in Leeds bring a fresh perspective to the NBA Crocs collaboration, following up on their successful retro-print inspired Crocs spot from last fall.
Lee Roberts, Creative Director at Bark&Bite, explains the creative challenge behind the NBA collaboration spot: “Our aim was to capture the vibrant energy and excitement of a basketball game without featuring the players or crowd directly.”
“To achieve this, we crafted a fast-paced edit that mirrors the dynamic nature of the sport. Dynamic transitions maintain the momentum and emulate the thrill of being courtside. Additionally, we leveraged audio elements like the squeak of shoes on a polished wood court to fully immerse the audience in the game atmosphere.”
“We also stylized the court and hoop to create a hyper-realistic setting. By enhancing the environment with dramatic stadium lighting, we were able to recreate the depth and ambiance of an arena, evoking the electrifying energy of a live basketball game without the presence of a crowd.”
