Wellcom Appoints Luke Hammersley to Newly- Created Role of Global Growth Director

NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2026 — Wellcom, the global creative production agency group, has hired industry veteran Luke Hammersley as its first Global Growth Director, tasked with further accelerating the agency’s continued international expansion.

Reporting directly to Global CEO David Bridges in New York, Hammersley will spearhead the evolution of Wellcom’s technology-enabled content and production offerings, ensuring the agency remains ahead of the industry as brands demand increasingly complex, scaled production solutions. He will work from London.

“Wellcom is in a uniquely powerful position in the market – a highly entrepreneurial, independent culture with a global presence, buttressed by the resources of Innocean but without the constraints of a traditional holding company,” said Luke Hammersley, global growth director, Wellcom. “That combination of a modern data and technology model with decades of deep craft and creative expertise is rare – and increasingly essential – in a market where joined-up content models matter more than ever for brands.”

Hammersley brings more than 20 years of experience across management consulting and creative production. He began his career with a decade of consulting at EY and Capgemini delivering large-scale business transformation, before moving into advertising. In 2005, he founded Zebra Worldwide, a tech-forward global content agency that later became part of CreativeDrive following an acquisition roll-up by Bertram Capital. Hammersley served as CEO of CreativeDrive EMEA and in the global leadership team through the company’s sale to Accenture Song. Most recently, he has advised global brands on modern content strategy and operating models.

“Wellcom’s growth to date has been driven organically by the quality of our work and the trust we’ve built with clients,” said David Bridges, global CEO, Wellcom. “Luke brings a rare understanding of how creativity, production, and technology intersect — and how to articulate that value to brands that urgently need scalable solutions rooted in creative excellence and production craft. He’s the right leader to help us proactively take our reconvergence model to the wider market and demonstrate how Wellcom group builds customer experiences  in a way no other agency can.”

Hammersley joins Wellcom at a pivotal moment as the agency expands its technology-creative-production “reconvergence” model – bringing together deep creative and craft expertise with a differentiated data, AI, and technology development capability. This approach enables brands to build tailored customer experiences, serving as the antidote to the unified operating systems favored by traditional holding companies that aggregate agencies and clients into generalized, one-size-fits-all solution sets.
