About the show:
Secret Level is a new adult-animated anthology series featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the world’s most beloved video games. From the creative minds behind LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS, each of the episodes is a celebration of games and gamers. Secret Level is created by and executive produced by Tim Miller. About the design:
In addition to the opening title sequence, BUCK designed and animated each of the episode titles. The world we built was inspired by the fundamental building blocks of video games: the humble pixel and cube. They make up the foundation of everything created in the titles package. We developed a unique look, taking the audience through different eras and genres of games, starting with flat retro games like Pong, through fantasy, to modern-day sci-fi MMORPGs.We brought our thematic cube world into the episode openers, creating six genre titles to represent gaming genres: Player Vs. Player, Platformer, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mech Action, and Fighting. See more here.
