The campaign, in collaboration with Ogilvy, captures the essence of the iconic model and its ability to connect drivers with the freedom of the open road.
“The world awaits you” is not just a tagline; it’s a statement of intent. The campaign showcases the vehicle’s versatility to adapt to any lifestyle, from weekend getaways to long journeys. Through evocative imagery, the New California is presented as the perfect companion for discovering new horizons and living unforgettable experiences.


Alex García, marketing director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Spain, assures that in recent years “the camper movement has not stopped growing. And we are convinced that with the New California it will grow even more. Because it retains everything that has made the California the most desired camper, but incorporating great new features, such as the two sliding doors, a complete renovation of its interior, and cutting-edge technology. In addition, it will be available in a plug-in hybrid version, so that in addition to enjoying the environment, you can also respect it.”
