Visa is releasing a new brand campaign developed in partnership with Anomaly titled “Typewriter ” which follows a young woman as she purchases a vintage “Typewriter” and follows along on all of her possible “journeys” – from becoming a famous screenwriter, to world-renowned restauranteur, to a globetrotting travel zine magnate. No matter who she
wants to be, Visa can help her get closer to everywhere she wants to be.
Visa is breathing new life into its iconic tagline “Everywhere You Want to Be” for today’s consumers. The journey isn’t just about where they’re going, it’s about who they’re becoming. The campaign shows how Visa enables everyday progress in both big and small ways – supporting people on their journeys to “making it,” one transaction at a time.
This builds on the “Power of Small Steps” – Visa’s campaign that focused on the steps we take to achieve our goals. Visa chose the broadcast on ABC during the 2025 Oscars on March 2 because it often times major live cultural moments – like sports connected to our sponsorships (Olympics, NFL, FIFA, etc.). The Oscars are the most iconic moment in time for cinema that nicely aligned with the storyline of the screenwriter/director in “Typewriter.”
There are also three :15 films tying how Visa shows up in people’s lives everyday including through travel, everyday spending and e-commerce. While “Typewriter” brings the power of small steps to life through everyday transactions, the 15-second films illustrate Visa’s wide acceptance, security, and trust worldwide.
