Vimto Appoints McCann as Lead Creative Agency

Vimto, the much-loved and iconic British soft drink, has appointed McCann as its new lead creative agency. Entrusting the agency to develop a wave of fresh, dynamic ideas that channel all the energy and playful spirit of the brand, McCann will lead in connecting Vimto’s vibrant personality to audiences old and new across the UK, creating memorable campaigns that cut through in today’s ever-evolving landscape. 

McCann in Bristol and Manchester secured the win following an open call for agency interest that narrowed down to four finalists. Recognising that the brand deserved a bold, unifying idea capable of harmonising both brand and product activity at every touchpoint, the agency leveraged the strength of its extensive agency network and strategic insight to craft a unique vision for Vimto.  

Jenny Powell, brand controller at Vimto, said: “The McCann team demonstrated a real passion for the brand and a desire to create great work collaboratively. We have over 100-years of history to build upon and I look forward to writing the next exciting chapter together with our agency.” 

Under the new partnership, McCann will deliver fully integrated strategy, creative, communications planning, and production, all in close collaboration with Vimto’s expert partners.
