Dublin, Ireland, 13th April — Ronan Traynor, Founder of Verve, The Live Agency, has appointed Barry Muldowney to Group Managing Director, as Traynor moves into the role of Executive Chair. This marks a new chapter for the agency, as it accelerates its international growth.

Traynor remains closely involved as Executive Chair, supporting the leadership team, senior clients and the long-term vision of the agency, which he founded 35 years ago. After more than a decade with Verve, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, Muldowney has stepped into the Group Managing Director role to lead the next chapter of growth and spearhead the agency’s international trajectory.

Verve, founded by Traynor in Dublin in 1991, delivers brand experiences, sponsorship activations and live events for clients including Diageo, Google, Coca-Cola, LinkedIn and TikTok. This leadership change follows Verve’s continued expansion in Dublin, London, Amsterdam and Asia, having established its Singapore office last year to support growing demand across APAC.

Ronan Traynor said: “Barry has been central to Verve’s growth and is the right person to lead our agency forward. He understands our culture, our ambition, our clients, and our belief in the power of experience to create lasting impact; in essence, what makes Verve, Verve.

“I’m proud to hand the baton to someone I trust completely. I look forward to supporting Barry, the team and our clients, as Verve continues to grow internationally.”

On his appointment, Barry Muldowney said: “Verve is in a strong position globally, with exceptional clients, talent and momentum. I’m excited to build on the platform which Ronan created and lead the agency through its next phase of growth.”
