The Super Bowl may only require one NFL stadium for the Big Game, but Verizon, the league’s official 5G network sponsor, is bringing the party to all 30 NFL markets with its Super Bowl 59 FanFest on February 9.
Building on last year’s memorable Super Bowl 58 stunt, where Verizon helped Beyoncé “drop Cowboy Carter from space,” the brand is marking this year’s event with a nationwide celebration. While Verizon will host exclusive activities in New Orleans for the Big Game, fans across the country can join in the excitement at their local NFL stadiums with tours, live music, meet-and-greets with NFL players and alumni, and dishes prepared by local chefs.
“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year, but few get to experience it in person,” said Leslie Berland, Verizon’s EVP and CMO. “We wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country.”
Nationwide Experiences
Airing its one-minute promo during NBC’s Sunday Night Football on January 5, Verizon teased the FanFest with a cinematic ad featuring CGI helicopters delivering the event’s logo to stadiums in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Santa Clara (“San Francisco”). While the ad didn’t showcase every stadium, fans in places like MetLife Stadium (N.J.), SoFi Stadium (Calif.), and Mile High Stadium (Colo.) can expect unique activities like 50-yard line selfies, locker room tours, end-zone ball spikes, and on-field games.
NFL Legends and Local Entertainment
FanFest events will feature appearances from NFL legends and Hall of Famers, including Tiki Barber, Emmanuel Sanders, Patrick Willis, Derrick Brooks, Jason Witten, Marshall Faulk, Jamaal Charles, and Jason Taylor. Entertainment will reflect local flavors, such as the Rams mariachi band in Los Angeles and the Texans’ game day presentation team in Houston. DJs like DJ Infared, DJ Jay Ejercito, and DJ Split Second Sound will also keep the energy high across various cities.
Local Culinary Delights
Tailgate cuisine will spotlight local talent, with chefs like Stacey Weber from the Arizona Cardinals and Rocco Whalen, owner of Fahrenheit in Cleveland, preparing dishes for fans.

“We’re leveraging the power of our sponsorships and national and local partnerships to put our customers at the center of this incredible event,” added Berland.
