UNFOLD Hires Creative Director Jonathan Guillen and Associate Creative Director Nikki Black

Digital creative agency UNFOLD has added Creative Director Jonathan Guillen and Associate Creative Director Nikki Black to its Talent department. 

For a decade, Guillen has worked with some of the world’s largest brands. As a creative director, his expertise spans across multiple verticals from 360 campaigns to digital, web, social and beyond. What unifies his work, however, is a strong creative vision that brings imaginative ideas to life.

Before joining UNFOLD, Guillen was executive creative director at Known, whose accounts include AMC, Audible, CNN, HBO, and Netflix, and PXL, which handles MGM, FX, Universal, DreamWorks, Paramount, Orion, and Annapurna.

As creative director at UNFOLD, he is leading the creative across VANS performance marketing, Hulu digital and OOH, Warner Bros. Theatrical and home entertainment digital marketing and FX paid social. 

Nikki is a social creative powerhouse with a unique ability to develop highly effective content through a strategic lens. As associate creative director at UNFOLD, they will apply their rich social experience to Unfold clients ranging from DoorDash to DC Comics.

Most recently, Nikki was an ACD at Compadre where they leveraged their insights to deliver captivating brand experiences and creative. Prior to Compadre, Nikki was an engagement specialist for Known, where they helped execute one of the biggest Instagram launches ever for HBOMax, later serving as the editorial content director for the channel throughout its launch year.

After leading successful campaigns with Netflix, Nikki joined the Growth and Innovation team as ACD of Copy.

Prior to Known, Nikki was at Blumhouse Productions and Mythical Entertainment, where they had the opportunity to hone their instincts for creating community and finding new ways to excite niche audiences.
