UK social agency Coolr announces record year of growth
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

London, 14 February 2025: Coolr, the leading UK social media agency with clients including Samsung UK, Burger King and Lidl GB, has achieved a significant step in the company’s ambitious growth plans, with a 70% revenue increase over the past 12 months.

Founded in the UK in 2017 by Adam Clyne, former COO of the LADbible Group and the Head of Digital for Weber Shandwick, Coolr’s growth is a result of significant new business wins including Britvic and Bupa and strong organic growth across its entire portfolio.

This is largely driven by the rapid expansion of the social media and influencer marketing category, as brands continue to invest heavily in digital content and engagement.

Coolr, which also secured private equity investment in November 2024 from Growth Capital Partners (GCP), grew its headcount in 2024 by over a third (39%) and currently employs over 130 full-time staff, making it larger than most independent advertising agencies. It offers full-service social media capabilities including strategy, creative, content creation, influencer marketing and full channel management and is a go-to partner for major consumer brands.

With its track record of high-impact campaigns and award-winning creativity, Coolr plans to expand into the US market later this year. This is a bold next step in its journey to becoming a global leader in social media and influencer marketing.

Adam Clyne, CEO and founder of Coolr, commented: “We’ve seen fantastic growth in the UK over the last few years at Coolr. I firmly believe this is a testament to the fantastic and talented team that we have built, who are always on the front foot with what’s happening on social media and how we can best service our clients’ needs through energy and creativity.”

Clyne adds: “Once seen as a tactical ‘add on’ for a brands’ marketing activity, social has now truly cemented itself as a highly valuable part of the overall marketing mix. Increasingly, we’re seeing demand from brands looking to strategically leverage this channel to maximise their impact. We are now at a very exciting stage in our growth journey at Coolr, and looking forward to building on this soon when we expand our services to the US market.”
