New York, NY (March 7, 2024) – This year’s UK House at SXSW is the biggest ever; with two indoor daytime stages and two British Music Embassy (BME) music stages showcasing British creativity and innovation at its best.
The Main indoor stage will feature talks and fireside chats from thought leaders and innovators while the Virtual Production stage will offer a virtual studio that highlights innovations in interactive and XR tech from both business and academic research sectors. These spaces and a revolving range of demonstrations offer opportunities to explore activations and meet the innovators and creators behind them, representing sectors from sports to music to film and fashion.
Not to miss at the BME stage is Dentsu Lab Tokyo’s latest project- ALL PLAYERS WELCOME and WITH ALS which will kick off the BME opening party. Japanese Eye VDJ MASA who lives with ALS and is unable to move his limbs will give a live music performance using Dentsu’s originally developed eye-gaze input music instruments and virtually DJ using the EMG controlled avatar, which the audience will see on the stage.
