What if accessing world-class People and Culture expertise was as easy as booking a hotel? Now it might be. TruthWorks is a community-driven, tech-enabled, two-sided marketplace for People and Culture talent.
The platform has a bold ambition – to do for HR consulting what Booking.com did for travel, by providing organisations with fast, flexible, transparent access to specialist experts, without the overheads and bureaucracy of traditional firms.
Founded by acclaimed Organizational Culture Experts, Emily Firth and Rhiannon Stroud, TruthWorks connects HR and People leaders directly with a curated global network of independent specialists across areas including Employer Branding, Employee Experience, DE&I, AI and People, Change Management, Leadership Development, and Operational HR.
The platform enables organizations to browse expertise, compare pricing, review peer ratings, and book experts directly. All specialists are sourced and vetted in advance, reducing the procurement friction and risk typically associated with independent talent.
Emily Firth, Co-Founder of TruthWorks explains: “HR leaders are under pressure to deliver more impact with fewer resources, yet the consulting model hasn’t evolved. With our platform you can see verified global Experts in all HR disciplines and compare them at a glance. Fees are transparent and clear upfront, you can read real ratings and reviews. We’re removing the layers of overhead to give organizations direct access to the experts doing the work.”
Early adopter, Arne-Christian van der Tang, CHRO, TomTom, says: “This platform is just the kind of positive disruption we need in HR. As leaders, we need fast, effective expert solutions that respond to real-time People and Culture challenges. TruthWorks is focused on exactly that.”
The platform is the world’s first two-sided tech marketplace, with global experts across all domains of organisational culture already available on-demand. TruthWorks serves leading clients including Prosus, Criteo, Arval (BNP Paribas), TomTom, and FrieslandCampina.
The TruthWorks talent platform is founded by industry insiders and sought-after speakers, Emily Firth and Rhiannon Stroud, who built a successful seven-figure challenger consultancy together, also called TruthWorks. Previously, Firth had a career in advertising, then led Employer Branding at Booking.com across 200 markets, and Stroud — a 30 Under 30 “one to watch” — was instrumental in Synergy’s acquisition by McCann. They are backed by an advisory team of experienced CFOs, CMOs, and a serial tech-founder CTO.
“This isn’t tech for tech’s sake,” says Rhiannon Stroud, Co-Founder of TruthWorks. “It’s a response to a system that no longer fits the need. We’ve been consultants, agency owners and client-side leaders. We’ve seen the system from every angle – and we know where the friction lives. These are challenges that won’t wait for procurement cycles. When your organisation needs a People or Culture expert, you need the best one now – not in six months.”
The global HR consulting market is valued at $60 billion and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7 percent between 2021 and 2028 (source SHRM ). TruthWorks aims to modernize access to this expertise by combining marketplace transparency with standardized contracting and payments.
The company has received private investment and plans to raise a seed round in the first half of 2026. Its product roadmap includes AI-supported booking, contracting, and collaboration tools.
