12th June 2026: Simplyhealth has appointed Mediaplus UK, part of Serviceplan Group’s House of Communication UK, as its new media agency following a competitive pitch to continue building trust with its audiences.
The appointment sees Mediaplus UK take responsibility for media planning and buying across The Simplyhealth Group. This includes leading healthcare services and cash plan provider, Simplyhealth and dental payment plan and financing provider, Denplan, spanning B2B and B2C communications. Activity will run across out-of-home, audio, display, social and search, with work kicking off this month (May 2026).
Simplyhealth is focused on simplifying access to workplace healthcare by removing barriers and reducing cost. Health benefits are often perceived as complex and time‑consuming to research, leading audiences to default to inaction rather than proactive choice. Mediaplus will address this by using media to deepen category understanding and sharpen brand differentiation, delivering cut‑through experiences that drive consideration, helping audiences understand their options and take action.
For Denplan, the focus is on evolving the brand, growing market share and driving practice and patient growth through effective, high-impact media, while leveraging the scale and strength of the wider Simplyhealth Group to clearly differentiate from competitors.
James Henderson, Sales and Marketing Director at Simplyhealth, said: “We were looking for an agency partner that could bring strategic clarity, strong planning and media expertise to support our ambitious growth goals across both B2B and B2C audiences. Following a competitive process, Mediaplus stood out for its understanding of our category challenges and its ability to translate insight into effective media solutions. We’re excited to partner together as we continue to build and evolve the Simplyhealth and Denplan brands.”
Andy Travis, Chief Client Officer at Mediaplus UK, added: “Simplyhealth and Denplan operate in a category where confidence, trust and clarity really matter. We’re proud to have been appointed to support the group’s next phase of growth and to bring our audience‑led planning and performance expertise to a brief that spans both consumer and employer audiences. We’re looking forward to helping both brands stand apart in a competitive marketplace and drive meaningful, long‑term growth.”
Gill Huber, Managing Director at Ingenuity+ commented: “Mediaplus UK stood out for their strategic thinking, collaborative approach and clear focus on delivering measurable impact across channels. Thank you to all participating agencies for their commitment and high-quality responses throughout the process.”
The pitch process was managed by Ingenuity+. The competition involved December19 and Assembly, with Ledger Bennett as the incumbent.x
