London, UK, 24th March 2025 – Following a successful 2024 comms campaign, Wagestream has again enlisted the support of leading independent PR agency The PHA Group for an awareness campaign to champion the untapped potential of the nation’s savers.
Established in 2018, Wagestream is a comprehensive financial wellbeing platform that ensures frontline workers’ best financial interests are supported by their employers. Working with organisations including ASDA, Co-op, Wingstop, Bupa and the NHS, millions of people are already benefitting from Wagestream’s services.
The PHA Group’s Corporate practice has been tasked with launching a communications project that engages employers with their potential to have a positive role in improving people’s saving ability, and to help savers understand their saving options in 2025 and beyond.
The campaign will be grounded in research and compelling storytelling about the state of the nations’ savings and the major UK banks’ poor practice of not passing on the best interest rates.
The PHA Group has extensive experience in executing media relations and content briefs with a campaigning and public interest edge, having worked with multiple purpose-led businesses across consumer services, technology and the third sector.
Sophie Cuttiford, Campaigns & Communications Lead at Wagestream says: “We’re challenging big industry to do better, and setting a new standard for financial wellbeing in the workplace”
“The PHA Group’s Corporate team have the creative thinking and contacts book to bring those goals to life. Last year we worked together to launch Wagestream’s innovative new workplace savings benefit, and we couldn’t wait to take the conversation further this year.”
Mimi Brown, Director of Corporate at The PHA Group, commented: “We love working with purposeful businesses – and Wagestream operates with financial inclusion and equity at its core.
“We’re excited for this second project together, shedding light on the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ the nation’s savers are stuck in with their high street banks. The research, expertise and passion driving Wagestream is clear in every interaction, and we’re poised to deliver an impactful media campaign this Spring.”
