PR, Digital and Creative Agency The PHA Group has appointed Becks Wiper to lead its PHA North operations. Wiper is a senior communications leader with 18 years of experience in PR and marketing.

She brings deep expertise in corporate and consumer communications and delivering integrated brand campaigns across PR, social, content, influencer and experiential channels.

Having run her own successful agency, Hop PR, for a decade, Wiper combines entrepreneurial drive with a track record of agency growth and client success. She has held a range of senior agency leadership roles, most recently communications director at Jam where she grew the client base more than five-fold during her tenure.

Wiper was recognised as one of North West Business Insider’s 42 under 42, highlighting her as a leading business voice in the region.

PHA North – with offices in Manchester and Leeds – partners with regional and national brands and businesses across the consumer and corporate sectors, including adidas Manchester Marathon, University of Liverpool and Pink Lady Apples.

Commenting on the appointment, Wiper said: “I’m incredibly proud to be leading PHA North at such an exciting time for the agency. The North is brimming with talent, creativity and ambition, and I’m passionate about championing the region’s most innovative businesses on both a regional, national, and international stage. Having built and grown agencies here, I know first-hand the opportunities that exist for brands in this part of the UK, and I’m excited to combine that entrepreneurial drive with PHA’s scale and ambition. Together with our brilliant teams in Manchester and Leeds, I can’t wait to deliver bold, integrated campaigns that make a real impact and bring more Northern energy to PHA’s future.”

George Coleman, CEO at The PHA Group, added: “We’re doubling down on our investment in the North to take advantage of the incredible talent and growth opportunities in the region. The PR industry is overly London-centric, but we passionately believe having teams across the UK makes PHA a better agency and leads to more impactful ideas and campaigns for our clients. Adding some Northern soul to our work is part of our secret sauce, and I’ve no doubt Becks will make a significant positive impact on all that we do.”
