You’ve entered the most amazing work you’ve created over the past year, and now all of your creative blood, sweat, and tears are in the hands of The One Show 2025 jury!
They’re on the sunny beaches of Punta Cana (where the judges don’t see much of the sun or the beaches), they’re in our New York City headquarters, and they’re meeting virtually from every corner of the globe. Together more than 250 superstars from over 40 countries and regions are helping to determine the most innovative and Pencil-worthy work of the year!
While in the Dominican Republic, we paired Jury Presidents together in order to educate each other on the challenges and surprises their respective disciplines offered.
First up, we’ve got Nancy Crimi-Lamanna, CCO of FCB Canada and Creative Use of Data + Creative Use of Technology Jury President with David Lee, CCO of Squarespace and the Brand-Side-In-House Jury President.
We then brought together Public Relations Jury President Patrícia Ávila, Regional Director for Latin America at Ágora, and Ali Rez, CCO of Impact BBDO and President of the Interactive, Online & Mobile Jury.
Next on deck was Chris Beresford-Hill, Worldwide CCO of BBDOand Experiential & Immersive + Integrated/Omnichannel Jury President, and Federico Duran, SVP, ECD of .Monks and Social Media Jury President.
We even took a glimpse of the African continent beyond awards powerhouse South Africa, with a conversation between Patience Dambe, Director of Marketing and Brand Development at Diamond Hub in Gaborone, Botswana, and Maxwell Ngari, ECD at Dentsu Creative in Nairobi, Kenya.
THE ONE SHOW 2025 CEREMONY
All of that judging some of the very best work in the world leads up to Creative Week 2025 — and more specifically the week’s grand finale, The One Show 2025!
Join us once again at the beautiful Cipriani Wall Street on Friday, May 16, where this year’s Pencil winners will be honored and the Special Awards winners — including Best of Show — will be revealed! Tickets for individual seats and tables of ten are currently on sale, with special discounts for card-carrying One Club Members.
Of course, The One Show ends what is shaping up to be a spectacular week, one that also includes the ADC 104th Annual Awards, the TDC 71st Annual Competition Exhibition, and the Young Ones Student Awards! There will also be in-person and virtual portfolio reviews, the ever-popular “filmed-in-front-of-a-live-studio-audience” Morning Buzz talk show, our TDC Lettering Walk through the Upper East Side, an A.I. themed Executive Creative Summit, and the all-new A.I. Creative Challenge!
