The Frameworks celebrates 35th anniversary with transition into full employee ownership

London, 2025: Leading B2B marketing consultancy, The Frameworks, today announces its transition into full employee ownership. With the business entering its 36th year, this milestone marks the next chapter in The Frameworks’ journey, reinforcing its commitment to its people, values and clients.

The decision to transition into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) comes after extensive research and reflection by the agency’s founder, Terry Brissenden, and the board. The move ensures The Frameworks remains independent, protects its values and empowers its people to take ownership of the business’s future.

Speaking about the decision, Terry Brissenden, Founder of The Frameworks, said:
“This is an incredibly proud moment in The Frameworks’ history. For 35 years, our people have been the driving force behind our success, and this transition is a natural step to ensure their efforts are recognised and rewarded. I’ve always believed that the best work happens when people feel valued and invested in, and employee ownership will only strengthen our culture and our ability to deliver exceptional results for clients.”

Employee ownership is becoming an increasingly popular choice among UK businesses, with the number of EOTs rising 27% year-on-year in 2024. The model offers proven benefits, including increased productivity, stronger morale and greater investment in innovation and people.

James Trowman, Partner and General Manager of The Frameworks, commented:
“This transition reflects who we are and what we stand for as a business. At The Frameworks, culture is everything. Moving to employee ownership allows every single Frameworker to have a stake in our future, contributing to an environment where collaboration and shared purpose drive our success.”

Rose Stewart, Design Director and newly elected trustee director of The Frameworks EOT, added:

“For us, this isn’t just a milestone for the agency – it’s an exciting opportunity to deepen our commitment to clients. Frameworkers will be more involved and more invested in delivering the creative solutions we’re known for. We’re seeing this change already. In short, our clients will benefit from the passion and dedication of a team that truly owns it.”
