Thursday 6 August 2026 – Following the success of its debut online series, Tesco is bringing the Tesco Kitchen back for a second season, continuing its mission to inspire more people across the UK to cook with confidence through entertaining, social-first food content.
Hosted by broadcaster Greg James and chef Seema Pankhania, the seven-part second series launches on Thursday 6 August, with new episodes released weekly on YouTube. The second season sees celebrity guests including Ed Gamble, Chunkz, Joe Marler, Bella Mackie and more join Greg and Seema in the kitchen to solve a different personal food dilemma. Whether it’s levelling up a date-night steak, hosting friends, or recreating a nostalgic dish, the series delivers expert culinary guidance alongside plenty of fun, chaos and entertainment.
The Tesco Kitchen is designed to help Tesco engage with their customers within the YouTube space, helping shoppers discover new recipes, build confidence in the kitchen and expand their culinary horizons. Alongside full episodes on YouTube and cut downs on Instagram and TikTok, every recipe featured in the series will be available on Tesco’s Real Food website.
The new series opens with comedian and Off Menu co-host Ed Gamble, who turns to Seema for help preparing a chef-worthy meal after admitting he’s nervous about cooking for his chef friends. Together, they create a Thai-style pork belly complete with crisp crackling, sharing practical tips and techniques that viewers can recreate at home.
Murray Bisschop, UK Marketing Director, Tesco, said:
“After the great success of Season 1, we are absolutely thrilled to bring Tesco Kitchen back for a second season. We have an amazing lineup of guests, and we can’t wait for our customers to see the brilliant new dishes and entertaining moments Greg, Seema, and our guests cook up.”
Nina Landale, Head of Strategy at Uncovered, added:
“The evolution of Tesco Kitchen highlights a major strategic shift we’re seeing, where brands are increasingly investing in developing their own content IP. This series is a fantastic example of collaborating with household names across the social space to showcase delicious, accessible cooking powered by Tesco. We’re excited to push the native storytelling even further this season and help each episode show up across Tesco’s owned channel mix.”
Tesco Kitchen Series 2 was created in partnership with Uncovered, the social-first creative agency responsible for developing and producing the IP. While WPP MediaCom are supporting the series with a media plan.
The first episode launches on Thursday 6 August at 4:00pm, with new episodes released weekly for seven weeks across Tesco Kitchen’s social channels: YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
