Your first look into the 2025 program is here! We are thrilled to introduce the initial Featured Speaker lineup of nine incredible voices bringing fresh perspectives on empowering and inspiring the next generation.
Today’s lineup of thought leaders highlights a shared commitment to improving the future for young people. Hear from Annabelle Chang, the teen founder of Annabelle’s Book Club and passionate advocate for young adult literature; librarian and literacy ambassador Mychal Threets, who harnesses the power of stories and libraries to bring joy and provide mental health support; and Sinead Bovell, CEO and co-founder of WAYE and a regular tech commentator for CNN and NBC, who focuses on preparing youth for a future shaped by advanced technologies.
More featured voices to look forward to in March include CEO of Teach For America Elisa Villanueva Beard, who will share an expansive look back at her 25-year tenure with the organization to inform the future; along with authors Ana Homayoun and Jennifer Breheny Wallace, who together will discuss wellbeing, executive functioning skills, and attainment for modern students.
Plus you won’t want to miss the powerful conversation on “glocal” partnerships through the lens of video games in education featuring the Head of Minecraft Education at Microsoft Allison Matthews, President of Games for Change Susanna Pollack, and President of Hispanic Heritage Foundation Jose Antonio Tijerino.
