During Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, Stressticles takes a different approach to a topic most people avoid.
Created in collaboration with the Testicular Cancer Foundation and Neon, with animation and production by creative studio MAKE, the PSA is designed to make an uncomfortable conversation more approachable, memorable, and easy to share.
At the center is testicular cancer advocate Billy Balls, a cheerful, walking pair of blue testicles guiding viewers through a vintage-inspired world of “dynamic duos.” Inspired by the 1957 “Let’s All Go to the Lobby” bumper, the piece leans into something familiar and lighthearted while delivering a clear message. If something feels off, don’t ignore it.

The concept is simple. Familiar pairs like shoes, glasses, and cherries show what happens when something isn’t quite right, making the message instantly readable, while a playful, comedic tone keeps it engaging without losing sight of what matters. Early detection saves lives, and the goal is to make it easier for people to speak up and get checked.
Using 2D animation inspired by mid-century style, the piece leans into an iconic and instantly familiar look, updated for today’s viewer.
Stressticles reframes how testicular cancer awareness can show up. Not avoided, not overly clinical, but something people can actually watch, remember, and act on.
