StrawberryFrog Elevates Steve Scutellaro to CEO, Goodson moves to Chairman
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

StrawberryFrog, the independent, full-service creative advertising agency renowned for strategic and creative excellence — and more recently for its leadership in AI and innovation and media, today announced that Steve Scutellaro has been elevated to Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Known industrywide for its agility and mission to be the world’s largest small agency, StrawberryFrog has built a 27-year legacy of punching well above its weight.

Scutellaro moves into the CEO role after serving as the agency’s General Manager for 18 months, presiding over a period of exceptional growth and impact. His tenure includes sweeping the Clios in 2026 and D&AD awards, plus new business wins featuring RWJBarnabas Health, Woody Creek Distillers, Alibaba, Cheesecake Factory, Reuters.com, Parmigiano Reggiano, Longbridge and Visa — for whom StrawberryFrog was named AI Agency of Record. The agency has also seen significant expansion of its media operations, which grew 400% in 2025 under Scutellaro and Head of Media, Bill Heilmann. The agency estimates that Q1 2026 revenue is on pace to be 40% higher than Q1 2025.

Scutellaro takes the reins at one of the industry’s longest-running, most high-profile creative shops after a stellar 18-year career at many of the business’s best agencies. He began in Account Management at Rosetta before landing at Crispin Porter as Account Supervisor leading Best Buy. He moved to Deutsch LA, where he oversaw global brands including Taco Bell, Target and Sony PlayStation. At Pereira O’Dell, as Group Brand Director, he led MINI USA, Fox Sports and Timberland before spending five years at Deep Focus as SVP/Managing Director, powering organic social for HBO and integrated marketing for Aruba Tourism.

“Steve’s the real thing. Sharp, relentless, zero interest in playing it safe. We built this place on one belief: challenge everything, then use every tool at our disposal, using AI to reimagine the entire marketing funnel, from first impression to final purchase. That’s why he’s running StrawberryFrog now,” said Goodson. “Steve and the leadership team have been running the playbook for the past year and the numbers don’t lie. Steve’s the operator you want at the controls. For 27 years we’ve built an unfair advantage for the biggest companies in the world by being the thing holding companies can’t be: agile, fast, opinionated, and more efficient. We don’t benchmark. We don’t follow. We move.”
