Stanley 1913 appoints Born Social to lead global social and social production

NEW YORK, JULY 31 2026 – Global food and beverage innovator, Stanley 1913, has appointed global social-first creative agency Born Social as its global social and social production agency of record.

Led out of the US, the partnership will see Born Social define and lead Stanley 1913’s global social direction across markets, bringing greater creative impact to the brand’s output and maximizing the value of its global product offerings. Born Social already works with Stanley 1913 in EMEA, meaning the agency now covers two of the brand’s global markets.

Born Social’s remit spans global social strategy, creative strategy and content production, with a focus on helping the brand evolve its positioning and continue to build cultural relevance. The work will target a broader audience, while maintaining its strong existing following.

Paddy Smith, Chief Creative Officer, Born Social, said: “Stanley 1913 is one of those true culturally relevant brands and a social force in its own right. What’s most exciting is the ambition to continue building a brand that can travel across markets, audiences and moments. The opportunity to help scale that globally, while creating work that resonates locally and is exactly the kind of challenge we’re built for. This isn’t just about showing up in feeds – it’s about shaping what people talk about next.”

Marissa McHugh, Director of Social & Influencer at Stanley 1913, said: “It was immediately clear from Born Social’s pitch that they were the strategic partners we needed in today’s competitive, social-first landscape. Our social team has ambitious goals as a leading food and beverage brand that social audiences around the world love to follow. Born Social’s creative eye will help us continue to disrupt the category and rightfully solidify Stanley 1913 as a lifestyle essential.”

The win aligns with Born Social’s continued US expansion, supported by the relocation of its global creative and client leadership – including Chief Creative Officer Paddy Smith and VP of Clients and New Business Sarah Rainford – to New York. It also builds on Born Social and parent company Croud’s growing momentum in the US, following recent wins including Nikon Inc. and ChapStick.
