CHICAGO — August 17, 2026 — SpringWell Water Filtration, a leader in whole-home water filtration systems, today unveiled a new brand identity alongside its first major brand platform, created in partnership with creative agency Quality Meats. The “Know Your Water Is Just Water” campaign is built around a simple but uncomfortable truth: if people knew what was actually in their water, they’d never drink it, cook with it or bathe in it.
Most Americans assume their water’s clean because it looks clean: it’s clear, it’s odorless, it comes out of the tap. But hidden inside can be invisible toxins like chlorine, heavy metals, microplastics and other contaminants filling your glass, washing over your skin, and cooking your family dinners.
SpringWell saw an opportunity to shift the conversation away from filtration technology and ph levels and chemistry jargon to something far more emotional: peace of mind. The result is a new brand platform that reframes whole-home water filtration from an appliance purchase into the confidence of knowing what’s flowing through your home is exactly what it should be…and nothing more.
“Water shouldn’t come with surprises. Most people have no idea what’s traveling through their pipes every day. SpringWell exists so homeowners never have to wonder,” said Myra Nussbaum, VP of Global Brands at Fortune Brands. “When you turn on the tap, you should know what’s coming out is actually water.”
Rather than relying on fear or technical demonstrations, the campaign leans into memorable storytelling that gives an invisible problem a personality.
The hero film, “Walter’s Song,” introduces audiences to Walter: a lovable claymation droplet of water who’s sadly weighed down by an entourage of contaminants, from microplastic creatures to chemical sludge and heavy metals, all rendered through richly detailed handcrafted animation. As Walter sings his heartfelt 1960’s-style ballad, viewers follow his journey through a home’s plumbing system until SpringWell finally strips away everything that doesn’t belong, revealing the clean, pristine droplet that Walter was always meant to be. The tactile, handcrafted world of Walter transforms a highly technical product story into an emotional character and story arc, also serving as an ownable brand asset that can live beyond a single campaign.
“We wanted the craft of the film to feel as pure as SpringWell makes water,” says Brian Siedband, Co-Founder/Co-CCO at Quality Meats. “Which we realized was insanely tedious since it involved re-lighting and re-sculpting literally every frame. But, worth it.”
Following up the film is a series of sharp fifteen-second spots that interrupt familiar water-related advertising tropes. A family-friendly mac-and-cheese commercial VO suddenly announces it’s “packed with lead.” A luxurious shampoo commercial reveals your hair is actually being doused in chlorine and hard water. A refreshing post-workout drink is reframed as a glass of heavy metals. Each execution jars viewers into thinking about the water flowing through their homes and daily lives.
The work also extends well beyond advertising, with a complete refresh of the SpringWell brand, introducing a new logo and visual identity designed to reflect the company’s premium positioning and provide consistent visual language at every consumer touchpoint.
Launching across connected TV, online video and digital channels, “Know Your Water Is Just Water” establishes a long-term creative platform for SpringWell as it continues building awareness around whole-home water filtration and its mission to give homeowners confidence in every drop that flows through their homes.
Because with SpringWell, your water shouldn’t just be cleaner. It should just be water.
