Will joins from Fever Unlimited where he worked across clients including Sky, NOW TV, Logitech, Amnesty International, Google, Red Bull and Playstation
The global PR and creative agency continues a significant global talent drive, with Will Holloway joining its London office as creative director.
Will joins from Fever Unlimited where he worked across clients including Sky, NOW TV, Logitech, Amnesty International, Google, Red Bull and Playstation. Amongst a number of industry awards, his work for NOW TV was recognised as ‘Best of the Best’ at Campaign’s Brand Film Festival and shortlisted at Cannes Lions for work on the launch of ‘Succession’.
Before joining Fever, Will was a culture journalist and critic, writing for publications including NME, Q Magazine and the FT Weekend.
Alongside the agency’s creative strategists in Belfast and the United States, Holloway will work on developing and delivering attention-grabbing ideas for clients including B/S/H (the manufacturer of kitchen brands Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau and Neff) and Diageo.
His appointment is one of a number of recent top-tier hires by the agency – including influencer strategist Josefina Ballesta, who led campaigns for Disney and Netflix, joining the team in New York as part of the firm’s new Creator Hub division; and Maja Volt, Zalando’s global PR strategy lead, who moves to Smarts’ newly opened Amsterdam office.
Commenting on the appointment, Colin Corbridge, head of creative & strategy at Smarts, said, “It’s fantastic to welcome Will to Smarts.”
“We’re all about building brands with creative capital – ensuring that they don’t just show up in culture, but stay there.”
“With more than a decade’s experience generating clever creative ideas – that have made people sit up and take notice of everything from international environmental and social causes, to the latest Hollywood blockbuster – Will is ideally placed to help our clients build a genuine presence in culture, and remain restless enough to go the distance.”
Will Holloway added, “I’m really thrilled to join Smarts’ creative team at such an exciting time in their history. I’ve been impressed with the agency’s commitment to creativity that delivers results, and the sheer range and diversity of the work they do across a range of different sectors.”
