[Mumbai, March 2026]  – Skinvest, India’s fast-growing skincare brand known for combining science-backed efficacy with accessibility, has announced the relaunch of its cult-favorite Resurface Anti-Tan Peeling Gel, now introduced in an upgraded, more hygienic tube format and at a more accessible price point. The relaunch comes after the product gained significant consumer traction during its initial launch, selling out within weeks and building strong word-of-mouth popularity for delivering visible results from the very first use.
Designed to address tanning, dullness, and uneven skin texture, Resurface quickly became a preferred alternative to traditional exfoliation methods that often rely on harsh scrubs or bleaching treatments. The product works through a gentle rub-off peel technology that binds with surface-level impurities such as dead skin cells, excess oil, and buildup when massaged onto the skin, helping reveal smoother and brighter-looking skin underneath. While the visible peeling effect has often led to misconceptions, the brand clarifies that it is not the skin itself peeling, but the gel interacting with impurities on the skin’s surface, creating a controlled, gentle exfoliation experience.

The formulation continues to remain unchanged in the relaunch, retaining the science-backed blend that contributed to the product’s early success. Powered by lactic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid known for gently exfoliating while improving skin tone and texture, the formula is supported by betaine, which helps maintain hydration and minimise potential irritation during exfoliation. This combination allows effective resurfacing while helping maintain the skin barrier, making the product suitable even for consumers cautious about exfoliating treatments.

Consumer feedback played a central role in shaping the relaunch. Skinvest has transitioned the packaging from a jar to a tube format, improving hygiene by reducing direct product contact while also ensuring better formulation stability and more controlled application. The updated design reflects the brand’s continued focus on enhancing user experience through practical innovation while preserving product performance.

In line with its mission to make high-performance skincare more accessible, Skinvest has also revised the pricing of Resurface despite rising input and packaging costs. The product is now priced at ₹599 for 70 ml, reduced from its earlier price of ₹899, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to delivering effective skincare solutions tailored for Indian consumers without compromising on quality.

Resurface is designed as a quick addition to everyday skincare routines, applied on clean, dry skin, gently massaged for about a minute, and rinsed off to reveal smoother, softer, and more radiant-looking skin. Many users have reported noticeable improvements in texture and glow after just one use, contributing to the product’s strong consumer recall and repeat demand.
