Created in collaboration with Colenso BBDO, the campaign introduces Liz from Kerikeri, a devoted Skinny customer whose AI-powered clone is now the face of the brand’s latest ads.
Selected as “Skinny’s happiest customer,” Liz was chosen from over 300 applicants during a nationwide search that spanned just two weeks. As part of this groundbreaking partnership, Liz will receive a lifetime of free Skinny mobile credit, along with a talent fee for the use of her digital likeness.
Skinny brand manager Emma Carpenter described the initiative as more than just a marketing stunt, calling it a bold step forward in innovation and cost-effectiveness. The campaign showcases Skinny’s commitment to pushing creative boundaries while staying true to its affordable brand ethos.
Developed with the support of Colenso BBDO, PHD, Anthem New Zealand, Platform29, FINCH, and Creature Post NZ, the campaign is set to roll out across multiple platforms. Expect to see AI Liz making waves in Skinny’s latest advertising push.
