London, 31 July: Serviceplan Group UK, the UK arm of the largest independent, partner-led agency group in Europe, has appointed Anna Nichols as its first Chief Financial Officer, reinforcing its commitment to the House of Communication model and supporting the continued growth of its UK businesses.
Anna joins from IPG Mediabrands (now Omnicom Media), where she was CFO for the last four years. She brings her extensive senior finance leadership experience, having built a career focused on strengthening the strategic and commercial impact of finance within businesses. She’s also held commercial and finance roles at Barclays, Sky, Virgin Media and Channel 5 prior to IPG.
In her new role at Serviceplan Group UK, who work with the likes of BMW, De‘Longhi, Hiscox, Epson, Bosch and E.ON, Nichols will oversee the finance function across the group’s UK agencies including Mediaplus Group UK, Behave, Serviceplan and Plan.Net. The role reflects the agency group’s continued investment in its integrated operating model, bringing financial leadership across the entire UK business under one structure.

Anna is also a recognised leader in developing talent within agencies, giving others access to opportunities, and demonstrating that senior leadership and flexible working can go hand in hand. She has mentored colleagues and emerging leaders, including supporting neurodiverse staff, and will look to use her industry experience to drive forward initiatives at Serviceplan Group UK.
