LOS ANGELES (March, 2025)—Saylor—the creative agency behind award-winning campaigns for entertainment giants like Netflix, Disney, Paramount+ and Prime Video—announced the appointment of Raul Rios as Head of Strategy.
An advertising industry vet with over 15 years of experience, Rios will play a key role in shaping the agency’s next phase of growth as it continues to expand its capabilities and client roster. Since its founding in 2021, Saylor has experienced rapid year-over-year growth, driving entertainment-fueled marketing for brands.
“Raul comes to Saylor at a pivotal moment. His experience leading innovative strategy teams along with his deep understanding of modern audiences will be instrumental as we bring our entertainment ethos to new verticals,” said Will Trowbridge, Founder and CEO of Saylor. “We are excited to welcome him to the team as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible for our clients.”
Rios joins Saylor from Walton Isaacson as SVP Strategy, where he spent over ten years leading initiatives for a variety of brands including Lexus, McDonald’s, American Airlines, Pepsi, Verizon, Amazon, Unilever, Constellation Brands, Intel, among others. Successes from his tenure include steering high-profile campaigns such as Lexus’ Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour Sponsorship, along with the Ad Council + Huntsman Mental Health Institute’s The Rituals We Share.
“I’m excited to be part of Saylor’s incredible growth. This agency has quickly built a strong reputation for its top-tier, innovative approach to marketing, and I look forward to building on that momentum,” said Rios. “We will continue to break new ground while delivering on Saylor’s mission to deliver entertainment-led storytelling that sparks fandom and cultural impact.”
Rios is deeply committed to shaping the future of the advertising industry and fostering community impact. As a Board Member of the American Advertising Federation, Los Angeles, he champions industry growth, creativity, and diversity. Beyond advertising, he is an active Stanford alumnus, serving as a Board Member of Stanford Pride and a Co-Chair of the Latino Summit through the Stanford Latino Alumni Association. He also sits on the Board of APLA Health, which provides health care and support services to the LGBTQ+ community. Rios holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and dual degrees from Whittier College. Based in Saylor’s Echo Park office, he continues to be deeply engaged in Los Angeles’ vibrant creative and business community.
To coincide with Rios’ appointment, Saylor is promoting Bri Hudson to Director of Strategy. In just a short time since joining the company, Hudson has already played a critical role in shaping Saylor’s strategy team and approach. In addition to Strategy, Hudson leads Saylor’s influencer business, which has grown 1,000% YOY in the past 12 months. She will work closely with Rios to build out Saylor’s Strategy team.
