Los Angeles, CA, November 15, 2023: Independent advertising agency Saylor has hired entertainment creative Riley Taggart as the agency’s new Senior Strategist. Riley will be overseeing a team of strategists for the agency’s ever-expanding roster of clients including Amazon Prime Video, NBC Universal, Disney Studios, Nike Swim, Netflix, and more.
Riley cut his teeth in the agency world as a copywriter for Mustache, working with clients such as Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, Neutrogena, and Stella Atrois. Having built a solid foundation in traditional advertising, he became a creative lead for Netflix Is A Joke (Netflix’s social comedy arm). At Netflix, Riley spearheaded day-to-day content creation that helped propel the brand to an audience of 2M+ on Instagram.
Additionally, Riley has garnered a wide-range of experience developing social strategy and content for Universal Pictures, HBO MAX, and Prime Video. He has also written and produced two Vice TV series, Danny’s House with Danny Brown and Most Expensivest with 2 Chainz, the ladder of which ran for four seasons.
Notes Founder Will Trowbridge, “I’ve worked with Riley for years [at Saylor and previously at Netflix] and have always been impressed by his wide-ranging abilities as a writer, director, and strategist. Riley’s talent, sense of humor, and passion for creating level-up Saylor’s strategy capabilities in a huge way.”
Adds Taggart, “Saylor’s trajectory has shown that it’s an agency filled with people who want to push their creativity to new heights. There’s possibility in the air, and with the slate of work they’ve created in the first 2 years since they opened their doors… I’m just excited to be a part of what comes next.”
