December 2025 – Saigon announces Guilherme Nasser as the production company’s new director. This move completes the recent trio of additions to the directing team, which also includes Bárbara Magri and Vokos. The new addition expands the creative presence and strengthens the company’s aesthetic and conceptual repertoire.
With a degree in Journalism, Guilherme began his career in audiovisual production as an editor, but built his career directing advertising and entertainment projects at production companies such as Conspiração, Pródigo, and Moonheist. His work combines cinematic language, humor, and precise direction of actors, focusing on character-driven narratives and consistent visual identity.
“I arrive at Saigon motivated by the solidity of the production company and the creative level of its leadership. I follow the work of the Dois duo, as well as the commitment of Marcelo Altschuler and Victória Scaff, and I recognize in the company’s projects the same directorial vision that drives me,” says the director.
“Guilherme’s DNA is very similar to ours in the sense that he works with language and craft, first and foremost, in service of the idea. It seems obvious, but it’s not: Gui’s films have personality, they have an authorial signature, but always in service of good advertising. And this recognition is becoming consolidated in the market,” says Pedro Pereira, from the duo Dois, one of the partners of the production company.
Guilherme is also heavily involved in entertainment. His resume includes several music-related projects. He is the creator of the Pigarro Show podcast, a true audio comedy laboratory, for which he writes scripts, creates characters, and dubs all the voices, revealing a more authorial, inventive, and free side. Between personal and professional plans, the director also cultivates two declared desires: to direct a feature film and to see São Paulo Futebol Clube become a competitive team again.
