December 2025 – Saigon announces the hiring of Bárbara Magri as its new Film Director. With a degree in Journalism and a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Bárbara stands out for her sharp eye for storytelling and her ability to create projects that blend unique visual languages with a refined aesthetic approach.

She has built a strong career at major production companies such as Conspiração Filmes, Alice Filmes, Seiva, and Czar, and has directed campaigns for leading brands including Natura, O Boticário, Spotify, Quinto Andar, Spaten, and HBO Max.

“I’m joining Saigon happy to complement a team of professionals I’ve admired for a long time — but above all, to become part of a production house that values author-driven narratives and approaches the market with a positive and contemporary outlook,” says Bárbara.

In entertainment, the director is behind the short film Deba, released in 2025 and starring Gabriel Leone. The film was selected for the 2025 Ciclope Latino, further highlighting her talent and versatility.

“Bárbara joins Saigon with a rare combination of sensitivity and modernity. Her work has depth yet room to breathe; it is elegant, thoughtful, and always centered on people in every story. Having a director with this level of dedication and vision strengthens our commitment to creating work that connects brands and audiences in an honest way,” says Victória Scaff, Executive Producer at Saigon.
