Independent full-service advertising agency Chemistry has announced the promotion of Renee Williams Royal to the role of president at Test Tube Productions, its in-house, full-service production arm. Previously serving as VP and head of production, Renee will now lead the division, overseeing its growth, offerings, and creative output for both agency and external clients.

Test Tube Productions handles a wide range of projects, from large-scale broadcast productions to experiential marketing, social media campaigns, and radio spots. Since joining Chemistry in April 2022, Renee Williams Royal has played a pivotal role in tripling the division’s revenue and significantly expanding its team. Under her guidance, Test Tube Productions launched a new social media content division, @TestTube, responsible for social content creation and management for GoTo Foods, which oversees brands like Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, and Cinnabon.
With over a decade of industry experience at agencies such as Huge, BBDO Atlanta, and Moxie, Renee is known for her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Her efforts have not only enriched Chemistry’s workforce but have also enhanced client relationships. Chemistry, committed to reflecting the diversity of its cities in its offices, has made substantial progress toward its diversity goals, with Test Tube Productions achieving a staff composition of 63% diverse and 72% female.
