Redscout, a brand consultancy in the Stagwell network (NASDAQ: STGW), today announced the appointment of Michael Keany as its new CEO. Building on the strong executive leadership team currently in place, Keany’s appointment marks the beginning of Redscout’s next generation of evolution and growth.
Keany is an accomplished venture and business builder with 25+ years of experience launching and scaling products, services, and businesses, complemented by applied teaching and founder mentorship. He most recently founded Bryant Park Studio, a senior-led business design firm, and served as Professor of Creative Business Leadership at SCAD, where he developed and taught graduate courses in entrepreneurship, innovation, financial management, and leadership. A veteran of the consulting and advertising industries, Keany has prior experience in leadership roles at McKinsey & Company (Co-Founder and GM, McKinsey Academy), Oliver Wyman (Partner and Co-Founder, Oliver Wyman Studio), and Chief Transformation Officer at West Monroe. as well as senior operating roles including CEO of Code and Theory, Chief Strategy Officer and UK Managing Director at Method, and Chief Commercial Officer at Havas Americas.

Ivan Kayser will depart Redscout to launch an entrepreneurial venture. Kayser joined Redscout in 2015 and was named CEO in 2019. Throughout his time at Redscout, Kayser was responsible for navigating the transition from Redscout’s founder, reimagining the firm’s offering and leading seminal work from defining Peloton’s first brand positioning to rewriting Uber’s mission under new leadership, and partnering with Best Buy’s management to redefine the brand in the time of Amazon.

Kayser will assume the role of Executive Advisor over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
