Raven Public Relations, the preeminent PR firm for creative companies in the advertising sector, is excited to announce the acquisition of KBPR, the highly respected PR consultancy founded by industry veteran Kristen Bryan. As part of the acquisition, Kristen will join Raven as EVP, Group Account Director, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in advertising and PR, and a reputation as one of the most trusted champions of creative agencies across the U.S.
For the past nine years, Kristen ran KBPR, working with a variety of indie creative agencies including Quality Meats, Stink Studios, Where Eagles Dare, AnalogFolk, and Bindery. Her expertise in media relations, strategic planning, and her unwavering commitment to client success have seen her clients achieve top accolades and industry recognition, including honors from Ad Age A-List, Adweek Creative 100, and Campaign US Inspiring Women, among others.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Hollie and Matt for many years, and I’m beyond excited to join forces with them at Raven,” said Bryan. “Their commitment to creative excellence and the innovative spirit they cultivate at Raven truly aligns with the values of KBPR. I’m looking forward to further elevating the incredible work being done for our clients while helping Raven grow and expand. I can’t wait to see where we take this next chapter together.”
Through the acquisition of KBPR, Raven gains Kristen’s wealth of experience in creative agency PR, along with a long-established track record of securing national recognition for clients. Kristen’s focus on storytelling, media relations, and her passion for working with female-led businesses will strengthen Raven’s existing offerings, making the firm an even more formidable partner for creative agencies looking to make their mark.
Hollie Rapello, co-founder of Raven Public Relations, commented, “I’ve had the privilege of working with Kristen for years, and there are few who understand advertising communications and consistently deliver at her level. She’s a perfect fit for our team, and her expertise will undoubtedly further elevate our clients in the market.”
Matt Van Hoven, co-founder of Raven, added, “I first met Kristen working as an ad industry reporter, and our relationship grew because I knew I could trust her word. Since then she’s become one of the most preeminent minds in our field, and we’ve had so much success together it just made sense to take this step.”
In addition to her work with creative agencies, Kristen has been a passionate advocate for women in leadership. She counts as her clients nonprofits such as She Runs It and supported female-founded agencies like Red & Co., Nimble Works, and CJC Insights. Kristen began her career as in-house PR counsel to some of the biggest names on Madison Avenue including FCB and Universal McCann.
She begins her new role at Raven effective immediately.
