Ogilvy’s global head of influence takes home the most coveted award in the industry

Ogilvy’s global head of influence takes home the most coveted award in the industry

Rahul Titus, global head of influence at Ogilvy, has won the ‘Serious Influence’ award at the 2022 Blogosphere Awards, the largest community awards ceremony in the Influencer industry. The Serious Influence award is given based on the recipients pioneering and innovative contribution to the Influencer industry. Testament to the impact and reach of Rahul’s work, the award is not decided by judges, but voted for by the entire community of UK Influencers, bloggers and industry pioneers.

Rahul has been involved in Influencer Marketing from its infancy and has become a key player and definitive voice in the field. He pivoted the entire industry when he announced that Ogilvy UK would no longer work with Influencers who edit and retouch their images. More recently, Rahul launched a Business Influencer Marketing offering, which allows business brands to reach new communities.

“I’m delighted to win this award. I am passionate about the impact this evolving field can have for our clients, and I am dedicated to growing and developing the industry. Influencers and those brands partnering them must play a responsible role in culture and society. More and more businesses are realising how Influencer marketing can benefit their brands and expand their audience reach. It’s a crucial time to be in Influencer Marketing, and as the field grows, I’m excited to be at its forefront and demonstrate how we can transform brands and drive real impact.”  Rahul Titus, global head of influence, Ogilvy UK

Ogilvy has won ‘Network of the Year’ four times during 2022 at The One Show, WARC, Campaign and Cannes. This year Ogilvy UK was the only UK agency to win a coveted Glass Lion at Cannes 2022, they won 13 golds across five brands at the Creative Circle Awards, 11 prestigious D&AD pencils, 14 Clio awards, including the Grand Clio, won two silvers at British Arrows, 50 One Show pencils, making Ogilvy UK the most awarded agency globally, and were the most awarded agency at the DMA awards and the most awarded agency at the Influencer Marketing Awards – for the 4th year running.

Blogosphere is a leading Influence and events organisation, working across multiple disciplines within the fields of Influence strategy, creative, campaign management, editorial, logistics, videography, media amplification, and reporting. The Blogosphere Awards celebrate the best Influencers and best Influencer brand campaigns over the past 12 months, and the 2022 award ceremony took place in London on September 22nd.
