QMS NZ And Binance Deliver NZ First Programmatic DOOH Takeover
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

QMS NZ has partnered with the leading global cryptocurrency platform Binance to deliver a first-of-its-kind Programmatic Digital Out of Home (PrDOOH) campaign in Aotearoa, by taking over QMS’ entire Auckland digital network to broadcast a live dynamic data feed.

Running across QMS’ Digital Auckland portfolio – spanning large format billboards, street furniture and transit environments – the campaign features a live API integration displaying real-time Bitcoin pricing, turning the city into a connected, live broadcast of market movement.

Executed as a synchronised, city-wide PrDOOH buy, the campaign delivers coordinated, high-frequency exposure across the full QMS digital network, ensuring consistent visibility throughout key morning and evening commuter windows. This unified approach amplifies the impact of the live data feed, creating a true broadcast moment across Auckland.

Timed to align with the NZ CryptoCon event, which Binance is the keynote theatre sponsor, the two-week campaign will build momentum throughout the week, before extending into targeted event precinct activity, enabling Binance to reach highly engaged audiences across the broader market and in close proximity to the event.

The campaign is designed as a high-impact brand awareness and exposure play, demonstrating how PrDOOH can be used not only for tactical execution, but to deliver large-scale, culturally relevant brand moments.

QMS NZ National Sales Director, Ben Gibb said the campaign highlights the continued leadership of programmatic Out of Home in Aotearoa.

“This is the first time we’ve seen a brand harness the full scale of our Auckland digital network in this way, combining live data with a coordinated city-wide takeover to deliver a truly impactful broadcast moment.

“This is a great example of how PrDOOH is evolving beyond a purely tactical channel to deliver impactful, high profile brand executions. By combining live data with a coordinated, Auckland wide takeover, Binance is able to connect with audiences in a way that is both relevant and attention grabbing.

“Importantly, it also demonstrates the strength of the QMS network. Whether campaigns are delivered programmatically or through traditional trading, clients can access the same premium environments at scale, making it easier to plan and execute integrated campaigns across Aotearoa.”

Jenny Wei, General Manager of ANZ at Binance said: “This campaign represents an exciting opportunity to bring real-time digital asset market data into the physical world in a way that is immediate, engaging and locally relevant for New Zealand audiences. By featuring a live BTC/NZD price feed across Auckland, we are connecting people directly with real-time market movements in their local currency ahead of NZCryptoCon. Partnering with QMS allows us to deliver this experience at scale across key locations, ensuring Binance remains front of mind during one of the region’s leading crypto events.”

By leveraging live data integration, programmatic flexibility and QMS’ premium digital network, the campaign reinforces the role of PrDOOH as a powerful channel for delivering both scale and contextual relevance within Aotearoa’s Total OOH Audience solution.
