Publicis Dublin announces the appointment of Thomas Ryan as social and content director. Thomas comes on board to bolster the social offering at the agency, helping to deliver bold and innovative social creativity to its clients.
Thomas boasts nine years of experience in social and digital content, joining Publicis Dublin from F&B Huskies, where he held the role of head of social since 2018. In this position, he created and delivered social media strategies and community building campaigns for brands including Allianz Ireland, Slane Whiskey, Nissan and Guinness Storehouse. With proven experience in building brand awareness and engagement, Thomas was responsible for managing and growing Fáilte Ireland’s online community of over 1.52 million fans.
Prior to F&B Huskies, Thomas was head of social media and content at BBDO Dublin, where he was responsible for launching the Virgin Media Ireland brand social channels – generating 22.4M social media content impressions on launch day. This was followed by a stint at the creative digital marketing agency, Circulate.
The appointment comes at an exciting time for Publicis Dublin, which was the most awarded agency at the recent ICAD awards, achieving 18 ICAD bells for work for Heineken, Iarnród Éireann, SPAR, Virgin Media and the HSE.
