This morning, in partnership with CNC Agency, Postmates launched LA’s first delivery-only restaurant awards, The Posties.
When people eat out, 75% of the time it’s through delivery — yet restaurant awards traditionally only recognize the in-person dining experience. That’s why Postmates is launching The Posties, Los Angeles’ first delivery-only restaurant award, with support from CNC Agency. CNC is their experiential partner for the year and the agency handled the full execution from ideation to IRL.
On June 4 at 11 a.m. PST, celebrity chef Kristen Kish will announce LA’s top restaurants for delivery through her and Postmates’ Instagram (@postmates and @KristenLKish). Postmates spotlights the inaugural winners of The Posties by Postmates in two categories:
- People’s Choice Winners based on popularity (total completed orders), love (customer ratings), and loyalty (the order-to-reorder ratio). Some of the winners include Sugarfish, Kismet Rotisserie, Carla Cafe, Howlin’ Ray’s, and Ggiata Delicatessan.
- Industry Picks, selected by Kristen Kish, the Postmates team, and industry insiders, highlights the restaurants that in-the-know Angelenos order delivery from. Some of those winners include Avi Cue, Porto’s, and Leora Cafe.
“As much as I love cooking, I also love ordering in,” explained host Kristen Kish. “That’s why I’m so happy to be presenting the first delivery-only awards to Los Angeles restaurants, The Posties by Postmates. Whether it’s sushi delivered cold or pasta delivered piping hot, we commend these winning LA restaurants and Postmates for bringing true dining experiences to couches across the city.”
Each winner will be presented with The Posties trophy and many will be celebrating with specials and discounts available on the Postmates app.
To coincide with the announcement of The Posties, Postmates wanted to share some interesting data and learnings about the Los Angeles delivery market pulled from the app:
