playR Strengthens Fan-base Presence with Multi-Team Official Merchandise Partnerships for 2026 Season

National, 15th April 2026: playR, a sports athleisure, equipment, merchandise and lifestyle brand, continues to expand its footprint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) through official merchandise partnerships with multiple franchises.

Founded in late 2021, playR offers a wide range of products including sports apparel, cricket equipment, accessories and training gear, blending performance-driven sportswear with everyday lifestyle merchandise. In a short span, the brand has built a growing presence through its e-commerce platform and multi-brand retail outlets, while expanding partnerships across major sporting properties.

As part of its growing IPL journey, playR has cumulatively partnered with 8 of 10 IPL teams since its inception, previously served as an Official Merchandise Partner for multiple franchises across seasons. These include:

●       Mumbai Indians (Official Merchandise Partner: 2022–2024)

●       Rajasthan Royals (Official Merchandise Partner: 2023–2024)

●       Punjab Kings (Official Merchandise Partner: 2023–2024)

●       Kolkata Knight Riders (Official Merchandise Partner: 2024)

●       Gujarat Titans (Official Merchandise Partner: 2025)

For the 2026 IPL season, playR continues to strengthen its presence through ongoing Official Merchandise Partnerships with:

●       Chennai Super Kings (since 2023)

●       Sunrisers Hyderabad (since 2025)

Additionally, playR has partnered with:

●       Lucknow Super Giants (Official Merchandise Partner: from 2026 onwards)

Through these partnerships, playR is responsible for producing, distributing official jerseys, fan wear and lifestyle merchandise, enabling fans to engage more closely with their favourite teams. The brand delivers fan-focused collections that extend team identity beyond the field through high-quality apparel and accessories.

Beyond the IPL, playR is expanding across multiple sports categories including cricket, gym and fitness, pickleball, swimming, running and training. The brand also partners with teams, amateur leagues, corporate tournaments and sporting communities across India and internationally.
