Plan B has announced that the musical film Emilia Perez will represent France in the Best International Feature Film category at the upcoming Oscar Awards.
Sacha Naceri, a Steadicam operator represented by Plan B, contributed to the film as a Steadicam and camera operator under the direction of acclaimed filmmaker Jacques Audiard.
Emilia Perez made its debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where it was honored with the Jury Prize Award and the Best Actress Award, shared by the film’s talented female cast, including Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz.
The film has also been featured in the official selection at major international festivals like the Telluride Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival. Audiences can catch it at the San Sebastian International Film Festival (SSIFF) and in select theaters this fall. Additionally, Emilia Perez will be available for streaming on Netflix starting November 13 in the US, UK, and Canada.
