Toronto, July 28, 2026 – In celebration of National Chicken Wing Day on July 29, Pinty’s is launching The Wing Club, a nationwide search to sponsor 10 social groups with a year-long supply of their fan-favourite products. Knowing that wings are practically made for sharing, Pinty’s wants to encourage social groups across the country to get together even more by offering an ongoing stash of tasty bites. Whether it’s a knitting circle or an improv group, clubs of all hobbies and skill levels have until August 31 to sign up for a chance to win.
2026 has been deemed the year of hobby-maxing and social clubs. Whether it’s the boom in hobby clubs or the spike in arts and crafts,1 Canadians are looking for community and connection more than ever. These social hubs have become a seamless way to share experiences and build new friendships, which is especially important at a time when more than 1 in 10 Canadians frequently or always feel lonely2.
Pinty’s wants to support the creators of these social spaces by offering the absolute best food for gathering around: chicken wings.
“There’s nothing like a good plate of Pinty’s chicken wings to bring a group together,” said Benoit Tremblay, Senior Brand Manager at Pinty’s. “We’ve spent decades watching Canadians share our wings during life’s big and small moments, and this new wave of social clubs should be no exception. Whether it’s a monthly game night or a weekly meetup, we want to make sure the food, which is one of the best part of the hangout, is taken care of.”
