Paris, May 28, 2026 – VivaTech announces the exceptional participation of Peter Steinberger, creator of OpenClaw. Peter is a software entrepreneur and engineer, and also the founder of PSPDFKit. He recently joined the Codex team at OpenAI, where he works on bringing agents to everyone. Known in the developer world as steipete, he has built across the Apple and iOS ecosystem, developer tools, open source, and AI-powered software.
He will be joined on stage by Thibault “Tibo” Sottiaux who leads Product & Platform at OpenAI, where he oversees the teams building OpenAI’s products used by more than 900M people around the world, from ChatGPT and Codex to the API platform. His work focuses on turning frontier AI capabilities into reliable, useful products for people and teams, from everyday ChatGPT workflows to developer tools that can support collaboration across the software development lifecycle. Before OpenAI, Tibo was at Google DeepMind, where he built AI/ML workflow infrastructure for DeepMind research.
Both speakers will appear together during a session taking place on June 18 in the Theater, VivaTech’s new stage welcoming more than 2,000 people.
