Los Angeles, CA, July 21, 2026 — PARALLAX is excited to announce that Academy Award-winning editor Jennifer Lame has joined their roster of talent. Lame is an outstanding editor whose sharp narrative instincts and versatile approach have earned her a reputation as a key architect of modern cinema.

She won the 2023 BAFTA and Oscar for Best Film Editing for her work on Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, and most recently edited Nolan’s The Odyssey, which was released in theaters on July 17th.

Lame has become one of Nolan’s most trusted collaborators, first working with him on Tenet. She also works closely with director Ari Aster, editing Midsommar and Hereditary, as well as Noah Baumbach, editing Frances Ha, While We’re Young, Mistress America, The Meyerowitz Stories, and Marriage Story. Her additional credits include Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Kenneth Lonergan’s Manchester by the Sea. She was also the lead editor for The Sphere’s immersive screening of The Wizard of Oz, wherein the classic film plays out on a 270-degree wraparound canvas.

Her strong sense of structure and pacing, paired with her storytelling sensibilities, curiosity, and discipline, have made Lame one of today’s top editors. Her work spans genres, gracefully moving from large-scale high-stakes epics to intimate character-driven work. Throughout, her craft and adaptability shine as Lame skillfully interweaves distinct timelines and individual character journeys into a singular, seamless, captivating film. Approaching each project with a desire to keep challenging herself and her work, this drive continually elevates her work and makes her an intriguing editorial artist to collaborate with.

“We’ve admired Jennifer Lame’s work for years, and going from fans to collaborators is an incredible opportunity both for us and our clients,” says PARALLAX partner and editor Paul Rogers. “Her work is undeniable, her technical craft masterful, and she brings an elite, unique approach to the emotionally driven work we pride ourselves on. She can make a quiet dialogue scene feel epic and a sprawling action sequence feel intimate. We couldn’t be more excited.”

PARALLAX partner and editor Luke Lynch adds, “I mean…. Oppenheimer. She edited Oppenheimer. Need I say more?”
