Javier Campopiano, global chief creative officer for global clients at Omnicom Advertising Group (OAG), is stepping down from his position, ADWEEK has learned.
Campopiano, who previously served as global chief creative officer at McCann Worldgroup and McCann Worldwide, will leave Omnicom at the end of May. An Omnicom spokesperson said the company does not plan to replace his role.
His departure comes six months after taking on the OAG position as part of Omnicom’s acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) in December 2025.
Before that, Campopiano had served as McCann’s global creative leader since 2023. During his tenure, he helped the agency network secure clients such as Ferrero, Ikea, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, and LinkedIn, while also leading Cannes Lions Grand Prix– and Titanium-winning work for brands including Xbox and L’Oréal.
