Nordic Naturals Celebrates Global Omega-3 Day with New Campaign Launch

Nordic Naturals, the global leader in premium vitamins and supplements, has partnered with independent full-service agency Laughlin Constable to launch a national campaign centered around its top-selling Omega-3 supplement. The campaign, titled “The Power of Omega-3,” aims to broaden consumer understanding of the benefits of omega-3s, expanding their perception beyond just heart health to include their importance in overall wellness.

The fully integrated campaign is rolling out across a variety of platforms, including linear and streaming TV, social media, podcasts, digital ads, and experiential marketing. Its goal is to educate the public on the significant impact omega-3s can have on the heart, mind, and body, encouraging individuals to incorporate them into their daily wellness routines.

Pat Laughlin, Chief Creative Officer at Laughlin Constable, shared, “We’re really proud to have created work for such an impactful product and purposeful brand. The benefits of omega-3s go far beyond heart health, so we needed a clear storyline that highlighted its influence on the body and mind as well, while helping shift consumer perceptions about its full range of benefits.”

After being named creative agency of record for Nordic Naturals in 2024 following a national search, Laughlin Constable took responsibility for brand, product, and consumer strategy, as well as the development of the creative campaign. Nordic Naturals continues to lead the U.S. market in omega-3 sales, offering a broad range of premium omega-3 supplements.

Jim Planet, VP of Marketing at Nordic Naturals, emphasized the campaign’s challenge and importance: “It’s both challenging and an important opportunity to educate and shift consumer perception about omega-3s, especially since most Americans are not consuming enough in their diet. The work created by the team at Laughlin Constable tells a more versatile story about the impact our product has on people’s lives.”

The campaign’s visual content was filmed on location in San Francisco, with the help of Laughlin Constable’s award-winning production arm, HIVE Content Studio, and their partners, The Wade Brothers. “Our production partners, the Wade Brothers, did an amazing job creating imagery that matches our Nordic Naturals brand voice,” said Vincent Geraghty, EVP of Production and HIVE Content Studio at Laughlin Constable. “We were fortunate enough to shoot in Northern California, showcasing the beautiful landscapes and active lifestyle of the people who live there.”

The launch of this campaign coincides with Global Omega-3 Day on March 3, a day established in 2021 by the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) to raise awareness of omega-3s and their many health benefits.
