Nissan Canada and Juniper Park\TBWA have teamed up to create an AI-driven experience that redefines the test drive for the brand’s latest electric vehicle, the Nissan ARIYA. Through the innovative “Electrify Your Life” campaign, Nissan aims to raise awareness about its EV lineup, offering Canadians a cutting-edge way to explore the Nissan ARIYA.
The campaign showcases Nissan’s commitment to both technology and creativity. By partnering with three Canadian content creators, Nissan blends AI with human insight, creating personalized experiences that align with each creator’s lifestyle. Using AI versions of themselves, the creators were guided through the ARIYA’s standout features in a customized, interactive way.
“This campaign is a breakthrough for Nissan Canada,” said Alannah DavidClark, Senior Marketing Manager at Nissan Canada. “We used AI technology to create avatars that offered a personalized exploration of the ARIYA. This resulted in unique, thumb-stopping content that stands out across all channels.”
The content creators were unaware of the AI twist until arriving on set, where their avatars, designed using voice cloning, motion capture, and VFX, walked them through the vehicle’s features. This approach allowed Nissan to capture genuine reactions, giving the campaign an authentic feel. The avatars connected with each creator’s personal interests, from snowboarding to culinary adventures, further enhancing the emotional connection with the vehicle.
“The ARIYA deserved an innovative campaign that went beyond just showcasing the car. We wanted to use AI in a meaningful way, pairing it with human creativity to make a real connection,” said Adam Reeves, Chief Creative Officer at Juniper Park\TBWA.
