Nib Bebidas and Fabbri 1905 are proud to announce an unprecedented collaboration between Nib Bitter and Amarena Fabbri, bringing together over a century of Italian tradition and Brazilian creativity in premium mixology. The partnership has resulted in the world’s first bitter produced with original Amarena Fabbri, an iconic ingredient behind some of the most celebrated classics in international cocktail culture.
The launch also marks the beginning of “The New Classic Bitter Tour 2026,” a traveling project that will visit cities across Brazil and South America, offering immersive experiences, masterclasses, and tastings for bartenders, industry professionals, and enthusiasts of the new generation of classic cocktails.
With more than 120 years of Italian heritage, Fabbri is globally recognized as the leading authority in the Amarena category and found in Nib a brand equally committed to innovation, quality, and the development of bitter culture in Brazil.
“Nib Bitter × Amarena Fabbri is already a classic from day one. We didn’t create an experimental or short-lived product, but rather a balanced, versatile, and timeless bitter, ready to be used immediately in classic cocktails such as the Negroni, Old Fashioned, Boulevardier, Manhattan, Bramble, and Fitzgerald. Amarena Fabbri is already part of the emotional memory and repertoire of cocktail culture around the world, and our goal was to transform that familiarity into a new experience,” says Pablo Moya, partner at Nib Bebidas.
The product was developed collaboratively between Brazil and Italy, involving technical teams from both companies in a months-long process of sample exchanges, formula adjustments, and sensory profile harmonization. The resulting bitter keeps Amarena as its central flavor, balanced by a subtle bitterness and carefully selected Brazilian ingredients, creating possibilities that extend from classic cocktails to low-alcohol serves, gastronomy, pastry, and coffee applications.
The New Classic Bitter Tour 2026
To introduce the launch to the market, Nib is transforming the collaboration into a traveling experience through “The New Classic Bitter Tour 2026.” The project is rooted in the company’s DNA and its deep connection with Brazil’s cocktail community.
“Face-to-face interaction, exchange of knowledge, and hands-on experiences remain essential for building premium cocktail culture. The tour is our way of bringing that belief to life,” explains Moya.
The tour schedule includes participation in Fispal Food Service, Taste Festival, and ProWine São Paulo, as well as events in Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and Fortaleza. The international leg will take place at Classe Maestra in Lima, Peru, considered one of South America’s leading cocktail industry gatherings.
Throughout the tour, participants will have access to technical tastings, educational sessions on the proper use of bitters, and practical explorations of cocktail making, gastronomy, and pâtisserie.
Premium market and expansion
The launch also represents a new stage in Nib Bitter’s expansion strategy. The company expects to generate close to BRL 3.5 million in revenue during the first full year of Nib Bitter Amarena and strengthen its national and international presence by 2027.
The first production run will consist of only 500 bottles, available as an ultra-limited edition for the official launch. Between late June and early July, an additional 3,000 bottles will be released to the market.
According to the company, total investment in the product launch and The New Classic Bitter Tour 2026 is expected to reach approximately BRL 500,000.
Nib also plans to expand distribution to all Brazilian states and establish a presence in at least five South American countries by 2027, while negotiations are already underway for entry into the United States and Italy.
Premium mixology on the rise
For Nib, the Brazilian cocktail scene is experiencing its most sophisticated and promising moment in history. Growing consumer interest in signature cocktails, premium ingredients, low-alcohol products, and mixology-driven experiences reflects a broader shift in consumer behavior, with increasing demand for quality, authenticity, provenance, and storytelling.
This movement gained additional relevance with the recent launch of the Michelin Guide Rio de Janeiro & São Paulo 2026, which introduced the Exceptional Cocktail Award for the first time, recognizing excellence in Brazilian mixology.
“We were founded to develop Brazilian bitters capable of delivering international-quality standards while strengthening cocktail culture in the country. Today, we see bitter evolving from a niche ingredient into a central element of the new generation of classic cocktails,” concludes Pablo Moya.
