In a bold move to electrify the Miami E-Prix, the Nissan Formula E Team has partnered with legendary cheerleaders Top Gun All-Stars to unveil the first-ever dedicated cheer squad in motorsport. Dubbed the ‘Sakura Storm’, the team channels Nissan’s Japanese heritage with cherry blossom-themed uniforms and a high-energy, racing-inspired routine created by agency Dark Horses.
As part of its noisy thinking brand strategy for the Nissan FE team, sees Top Gun’s flagship crew rebrand as the ‘Sakura Storm’, a nod to Nissan Formula E Team’s Japanese heritage, brought to life through its cherry blossom livery.

Launched with a surprise flashmob at Miami’s Jungle Plaza, the performance is part of Nissan’s strategy to connect with US sports culture and ignite excitement around Formula E. The squad will cheer on Nissan in-person as they chase their third win of the season.
