“Carol is coming from another industry, so she will have a lot to add to our Strategy team. Her background will strengthen our planning by bringing a different perspective to our clients’ businesses and helping us to create more efficient and effective ideas,” says Ricardo John, partner and ECD at ISLA.
With a degree in digital marketing, Carol began her career in Salvador as a journalist, working for regional media outlets and communications consultancies. In São Paulo, she migrated to the advertising world, working at the Purple Cow agency, where she worked for GOL Linhas Aéreas and Lindt Chocolates. She also worked at Oliver Latin America and joined Will Bank’s branding department in 2021. The strategist has won important awards in the advertising market, such as the Creation Club Festival and El Ojo de Iberoamérica.
On what she sees as her main challenge at the agency, Carol says: “What made me take on this role at ISLA is the possibility of being part of a business that isn’t afraid to reinvent itself and always seek out the new.”
